L’Île d’Yeu in a nutshell:

The island covers an area of 23 km² and is approximately 10 km long by 4 km wide. It is the second-most remote island of mainland France after Corsica (approximately 20 km). The rugged coastline, the Old Castle, the Port de la Meule and the Vieilles beach are reminiscent of Brittany. As you cross the island, you can admire long sandy beaches, dunes and pine forests.
