With this pure energy, The Buttshakers are now following in the tradition of deep, militant soul, as exemplified by the track In The City and its video.
Their latest album, Arcadia, tackles the conscious and political side of soul, in the tradition of Gil Scott-Heron and Marvin Gaye.
