Archaeology Tuesdays: the Bronze and Iron Ages on the Ile d'Yeu

Recent archaeological research has enabled us to gain a better understanding of the occupation of the Ile d'Yeu during Protohistory. The excavation of the Gilberge burial mound, built during the Bronze Age, and surveys carried out at the Gallic site of Le Châtelet, provide a better understanding of the life of the people of Ile d'Yeu during these ancient periods.
