Archaeology Tuesdays: the Neolithic, sedentarisation and megalithism

The Neolithic is a key period in human history. It corresponds to the first societies of farmers occupying a territory and building the first villages. Recent research is giving us a better understanding of the life of these villagers, their habitat and their way of life. Today, megalithism is the most visible evidence of these highly structured social systems.
