Festival des Berniques - Concert Spectacle MARCELA

MARCELA: Slovakian singer and dancer, Marcela Cisarova is a Gypsy of Kalderash origin. In 2014, she met a guitarist called Benny, who was already with the group Aälma Dili. She's a Gypsy, they're Gadje.
They are Loran Bozic, violinist, Charles Lamouroux, guitarist, Yoann Godefroy, double bassist, and Benoît Vincent, also a guitarist.
They come together for the love of music, which they compose together with their shared passion and singular paths.
They travel all over France and Europe to pass on and share this culture.
Spring 2022 sees the release of their new album, O'Roma, with songs and lyrics that echo Marcela's own personal story.
With this new family, she sings of exile, recounts her uprooting, and makes her misfortunes dance with a powerful voice and the sweetness of Slavic melancholy.
Together, they offer a powerful reflection on cultural diversity and the need to live united, despite our differences.

Recommended for ages 10 and up.
