Your bookshop-café welcomes Angélique Mangon, who spent 3 years in the heart of South America's wilderness, including Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador, meeting people with a strong connection to Mother Earth, the Pachamama. It was a wonderful adventure that she will recount orally, supported by her photos and videos.

At the age of 27, Angélique Mangon decided to leave everything behind and travel to South America with one idea in mind: to meet men and women with a strong bond to Mother Earth, the Pachamama. From the Mapuches of Chile to the Quechua of Ecuador and the Mosetén of Bolivia, she immersed herself in people who perpetuate age-old traditions linked to nature, in a world undergoing profound change. Eager to meet new people and learn new things, this farmer's daughter has taken up the cause of these struggling peoples, sharing their rituals and learning from their beliefs.

Over the course of a remarkable adventure that would ultimately last three years, the young journalist opened up to a vision of the world radically different from her own. It was a journey of initiation, guided by her instincts, that turned her life upside down in the deepest sense: her own relationship with the land and the world.
