Grand Mer Océane or the Imaginary Voyage of Garcie Ferrande

Just as Homer made Ulysses travel in the allegorical furrows of his founding encounters, Laurent Tixier, a man of music, theatre and poetry, makes Garcie Ferrande's sailors travel the unfathomable Ocean Sea to discover new horizons where myths, realities, fears, faith, fantastic animals from the very famous "marine bestiary" meet, and in the end, a profound dialogue between what Baudelaire would have called "man and the sea".

Subtle acting, sometimes using marottes, alternating narration and dialogue, under the melodies of the lute, the bowed fiddle and the viola da gamba, make for a complete show that brings together all the arts in a single voice.
