Anne-Françoise Touanen welcomes you all year round to her bright studio-gallery in the heart of the village of Ker Chauvineau, close to the wild coast. In her large abstract oil paintings, the artist evokes the marine environment and architecture of the Ile d'Yeu, which nourish her daily life.

Anne-Françoise Touanen grew up in Brittany.
She then studied languages in Munich.
Alongside her work as a sworn translator-interpreter, she held a number of exhibitions in Germany between 1989 and 2006.
Since 2005, the artist has lived and worked on the Ile d'Yeu.
Nourished by the marine and architectural environment of the Ile d'Yeu, Anne-Françoise Touanen frames her oil paintings in solid, luminous abstract and monochrome layers, seeking a balance between dynamics and purification,...Anne-Françoise Touanen grew up in Brittany.
