    Arletty, A Very Busy Heart

He is her "Faun", she is his "Doe".

An irresistible passion. A wealth of unpublished correspondence. More than 600 intimate letters. Arletty, 43, the most adored actress in French cinema at the time, met a German officer, Hans Jürgen Soehring, in early 1941.
It was love at first sight, during a war they seemed determined to ignore. They never left each other's side. Their correspondence was intense and passionate, sometimes writing up to two letters a day. An all-consuming, irresistible, forbidden passion. Their love knew no bounds.
The scene is set in July 1970. When a young journalist (handsome, over-confident) forces Arletty (furious), after (mischievously) forcing open her door, to reread her letters exchanged during the war with her handsome German officer (10 years younger than her).
The evolution of their relationship during this meeting will astonish the viewer with all its twists and turns, revelations and new emotions, bringing to light those intimate and special moments in history that legend and the press have all too often falsified.
The final scoop will be a surprising twist.

"Béatrice Constantini plays a flamboyant Arletty with brio and panache".
    Ouest France
"Arletty is played with accuracy by Béatrice Costantini. She doesn't play Arletty, she is Arletty (...) Jean-Luc Voulfow's remarkably well-written text is carried off with elegance by the acting duo."
